The best place to eat, by the way, is not in town, but a 16 mile drive on Oil Well Road, which is dirt. The place is Freddie’s Roadhouse, and you shouldn’t miss the place. They advertise “The best hamburgers within 15 miles”, and the trip out there is a nice drive through some scenic country. The locals there won’t be easily forgotten.
